On January 15, 2019, the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Act (K-OSHA) underwent a revision and was officially signed into law. The new rules related to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) took effect two years after enactment. On February 15, 2023, the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor (MoEL) officially revised the Classification, Labeling and MSDS Related Standards of Chemical Substances (MoEL Announcement No. 2023-9) and implemented it immediately.
